Dedicated to enhancing safety and security in our community, Peekskill Auxiliary Police provides vital support to full-time law enforcement. Our passionate team of trained volunteers is committed to serving the public and maintaining peace in our neighborhoods.


Auxiliary Officer's assist the police department in crowd and traffic control at parades, special events and other community functions. They also deployed to patrol the downtown business district and other city areas of concern carrying out community policing duties and act as the eyes and ears of the department. Join us in our mission to safeguard our city.

The Peekskill Auxiliary Police is a unit within the City of Peekskill Police Department's Community Policing Division dedicated to enhancing public safety and fostering community engagement. Our skilled officers volunteer their time and efforts to ensure that our community remains safe and secure. The Auxiliary Police unit of The City of Peekskill Police Department is continually looking for candidates who are at least 21 years of age, preferably Westchester County Residents, who are community oriented, self-motivated, and excellent at following directions. Join us in making a difference!
